We had these made a few years ago for tradeshows and meeting with OGA-types. The concept is that one side is pristine and the other looks like the redacted, bombed, scratched, burned out mirror image. The problem was that both sides looked shiny, so we took matters into our own hands, and the result is an individually hand-finished, unique challenge coin. The current batch of these uses Black 3.0 paint from Culture Hustle, the blackest acrylic paint in the world, with a few layers of clearcoat to seal in the goodness.
We think the hand-painted touch adds to the mystique and ensures no two pieces are exactly identical.
